Today we went for Lucys EEG and my poor little lady was very very unhappy about having all the probes on her head,26 in all and every one brought a rather loud protest
I think the doctor doing the scan was probably thinking that i was an over anxious mum as I was really fussing over her crying but she cried so much and this is the most she has ever cried in her life and in a ay in panics me to hear her cry as it is a noise that we rarely have but at the same time I was rather proud of my little babys cry and thought,you go Lucy tell em what for.
When the lady was done sticking the probes on her head and proceeded to wrap her head in a net bandage Lucy looked up at her and honestly if looks could kill,Lucy threw her evil eyes and a face that said,hey lady lay off!!!!!
The scan was to last 45 mins and during this time she did see some unusual activity in the left hand rear of the brain but could not confirm if this was seizure activity or within the normal limits so it is another 2 week wait to find the results of her EEG.
Scans and tests aside Lucy continues to progress and can now roll all over the place,laughs out loud to her brothers antics and just loves to stand up,she is a super star and I could explode with pride for her.
I will update her 8 month marker in the next 3 days and give a run on her develpoment and some more pictures but leave you with some photos of the cutest little Lucy Mai.
